Curriculum Requirements
This concentration is designed to give students an instructional foundation in foods and nutrition and prepare them for entry-level positions in dietetics and nutrition. The dietetic concentration at NCCU is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606-6995, (312)899-0040 ext 5400. http://www.eatright.org/ACEND.
1. 121 Credit Hours:
Complete a minimum of 121 semester hours. The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU. Students must repeat ‘D’ and ‘F’ grades in all major courses.

To earn a Verification Statement, students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and pass a didactic Competency Exam with an 80%.
