MATH 1100 - College Algebra and Trigonometry I (3) Prerequisites: C or better in MATH 1000 or placement by University Testing. A course that prepares non-science students for MATH 1210 and students planning to take Calculus I for MATH 1200 . Topics include fractional expressions, exponents and radicals, equations and inequalities of linear and quadratic types, functions and graphs, exponential and logarithmic functions, and the binomial theorem.
