The Department of Art and Design offers a new competitive program of study leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in Fashion, Apparel, and Textile Design Studies. 

Apparel Design, B.Sc., Art 
This concentration offers an in-depth understanding of the fashion industry, immersing students in various elements including merchandising and apparel design, supported by a foundation in fashion, clothing and textile design. It’s designed to sculpt future fashion leaders, opening a world of opportunities in buying, apparel and visual merchandising, retail sales and management, designing, and product development. If you envision yourself shaping fashion trends, this concentration may be the perfect fit for you. Students in the Apparel Design concentration also complete 21 credit hours of art and design coursework. Students are strongly encourage to participate in professional organization, Fashion Inc, related to program areas, and attend area meetings.
