Curriculum Requirements

1. 120 Semester Hours:

A minimum of 120 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better is required. The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU.

2. General Education Requirement:

Complete the General Education Curriculum  (GEC) as detailed in the 4-year plan. Science and mathematics courses required for the major satisfy GEC science and mathematics requirements.

• CHEM 4200 - Advanced Organic Chemistry (3)

• CHEM 4350 - Computational Chemistry (3)
• CHEM 4450 - Environmental Chemistry (3)
• CHEM 4510 - Biochemistry II (3)
• CHEM 4550 - Techniques in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (3)
• CHEM 4610 - Forensic Science (4)
