Public Health Education/ Psychology Accelerated Baccalaureate/ Master’s

Curriculum Requirements:


Students must apply for admission in their junior year

Recommendations required include one (1) from the department chair and one(1) from a faculty member in the student’s major department.

Minimum GPA requirements:2.8 overall GPA 3.0 GPA in Psychology or related major.

PSYG 5800 is a three credit hour special topics course which can be repeated once.

PSYG 5800(3)* is a Special Topics- Analytical Writing. This is a writing course for graduate Psychology majors designed to enhance writing skills within the field. This is a required course.

PSY 5800 (3)# is Special Topics- Cognitive Development. It is a course addressing cognitive development and is a required course.

- HEDU 2000,2100, HEDU 2200 and HEDU 2400 with 2.5 GPA

- May not repeat lower level HEDU courses to improve grade for applying to Upper Division.

- Complete the General Education Curriculum with minimum GPA 2.25

- Complete BIOL 1300-1610-1620 with minimum grade of “C”

Complete and submit Application to Upper Division Public Health Education
