MGT 4530 - Personnel Staffing (3) Prerequisites: This course covers the important elements of the recruiting and staffing process withiin organizations: HR planning, job analysis, external/internal recruitment, validation procedures for determining the potential job effectiveness of candidates; description and validity of selection instruments such as tests, interviews and biographical data; turnover, absenteeism, and retention management; the process of performance appraisal; employment discrimination, affirmative action, and legal compliance.
