HEDU 3700 - Statistics for Public Health (3) Prerequisites: MATH 1100 or MATH 1110 , or permission of the instructor. This course provides an introduction to fundamental statistical methods and their application to health, behavioral, and social sciences. Lectures and assignments focus on statistical concepts such as measures of central tendency and dispersion, correlation, and sampling. Students will develop an understanding of selecting, computing, and interpreting descriptive and inferential statistical tests.
