Program Overview
The Students in Public Service (SiPS) Academy’s mission is to equip students with skills that can not only transform communities but also diversify the public service sector, as well as to encourage inclusive collaborations. We provide a multifaceted curriculum that prioritizes a diverse group of students who are politically aware and civically active to cultivate global leaders who are as diverse as America.
Applicant Requirements:
Applicants to SiPS Academy must meet the following criteria to ensure they are well-prepared to engage with our mission and uphold the values of leadership and public service:
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher to demonstrate academic dedication and progress.
- Fully participate in all SiPS Academy events, unless given prior approval for an excused absence.
- Successfully complete all assigned projects and coursework, reflecting a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Volunteer for at least one outreach or tabling event, contributing to the promotion of SiPS Academy and community engagement.
- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities and uphold high ethical standards, consistently making decisions that align with integrity and responsible civic action.
