Joint SAS Certificate on Statistical Methods

Overview

This certificate was develop jointly between NCCU School of Business and SAS Institute to meet the growing demand for data science and analytics skills in the workplace. The program focuses on data analysis using SAS programming for business intelligence and strategic decision making. 

I. Admissions Requirements

Students who hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to enroll in the certificate program. The degree (or the equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree) must be from an accredited institution.

2. Required Course

a. DSC 5200 Managerial Statistics ( 3 )  

b. STQM 5420 Topics in Regression Analysis ( 3 )  

c. STQM 5440 Topics in Categorical Data Analysis ( 3 )  

d. STQM 5900 Special Topics in Data Analysis ( 3 )  

III. Exit Requirements

The Certificate is granted to students completing the required courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater.
