Elective Courses in the Recreation Administration Graduate Program Curriculum
All students must complete 33 credit hours.
Depending on which capstone option students choose, the number of electives will vary. Students will be required to take the number of elective courses needed to reach 33 credit hours. With the approval of the advisor, students may select elective courses not listed above below. Note: Some of these courses are offered only Fall or Spring semester each year. Students should check with the Graduate Coordinator of each program to assess availability of these approved courses.
Exit Requirements
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher is required. Students must complete a minimum of 33 hours of coursework including a Thesis for the M.S. with Thesis option, a minimum of 33 hours of coursework including a Project for the M.S. with Project option, and a minimum of 33 hours of coursework including a 6 credit hour internship for the M.S. with Internship option.
- Admission to Masters Candidacy.
- Successful completion of an oral exam associated with the thesis and/or project.
