Curriculum Requirements


The Art Studies Concentration is designed for the student who wishes to concentrate in one of the following disciplines: painting and drawing, printmaking, sculpture, or ceramics. Students in this program are encouraged to continue their studies at the graduate level.

1. 120 semester hours:


Complete a minimum of 120 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU. Students must repeat ‘D’ and ‘F’ grades in major courses.

2. General Education Requirement:


Complete General Education Curriculum  required by the university as detailed on the four-year course of study. Students must have a ‘D’ or better in all GEC required courses.
