Curriculum Requirements


This concentration prepares students for the workforce, graduate schools, and professional schools.  A 2.0 or better GPA must be maintained as the overall GPA as well as in all Spanish courses.

1. 120 Semester Hours:


Complete a maximum of 120 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better.  The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU.  Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in the following courses:  ENG 1110 , ENG 1210 , ENG 1300  or ENG 1400 , ENG 2410 , and ENG 1500 .

2. General Education Requirement:


Complete General Education Curriculum  required by the university as detailed on the four-year course of study.

Program Notes:


Majors must complete 33 hours in the program and must take the senior seminar.  They must also take 15 additional hours of advised electives.  These are waived for double majors such as Nursing and Spanish and for the Teacher Education Option.)
