The Department of Nutrition Sciences offers two online program a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) Verification Statement and a Master of Science in Nutritional Science. An additional path within the master’s degree is the Future Education Model Graduate Program (GP) which is a hybrid program that prepares students to become Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN). Students pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics are provided with an instructional foundation in foods, nutrition, and dietetics. Students are prepared for entry-level positions in nutrition, food service management and other related fields. The DPD verification statement qualifies graduates for supervised practice, which is necessary to be a RDN.
