An introduction to the basics of the Spanish language. Fundamentals of pronunciation, structure and vocabulary prepare the student to carry on simple conversations in everyday, concrete situations. The four communication skills (listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing) are developed within the cultural context of the target language.
