MATH 1051 - Mathematics for Education Majors (3)

Pre- or Co-requisite: Placement by University Testing MATH 1051 is for education majors (Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle Grades Education) and does not count as credit toward GEC mathematics requirement for non-education majors. The purpose of the course is to present foundational mathematics in practical settings and expand upon prospective teachers’ understanding of the fundamental concepts that form the core of K-12 mathematics curriculum.
