ARTV 3810 - Branding and Advertising Design (3) Pre- or Co-requisite: ARTV 3800 . (Fall only.) This course includes ideation exercises, project-based learning, and critique students to interpret assigned project briefs, develop skills of copywriting and art direction to implement new solutions to brand problems. Students will (1) gain knowledge and a strong understanding of promotion, strategy, audience, and brand purpose (2) explore the necessary skills needed to craft powerfult advertising campaigns that connect with consumers through storytelling, social media, visual design, and strategic problem solving. Six audio hours per week. Six studio hours per week.
