BIOG 5410 - Selected Topics In Bioinformatics (3) Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of the instructor. The course is designed for biology and other science majors, who are interested in acquiring the principles of computational biology or bioinformatics, training in the analysis of biological sequences and structures, employing statistical techniques, and learning about the expanding databases in the areas of toxicology, health informatics, and medical genomics (Three lecture hours per week.).
