MATH 2600 - Introduction to Abstract Mathematics (3) Prerequisites: C or better in MATH 2020 and COMP 2200 . A designed to transition students from the calculus to more abstract mathematics. The course covers prerequisite material for advanced abstract mathematics courses. Topics include logic, sets and functions, an introduction to mathematical proof, mathematical induction, relations, and algebraic systems.
