PHIL 1000 - Introduction to Philosophy (3) (Fall, Spring) An investigation of the methods and goals of philosophy as a distinctive mode of inquiry. The primary goals of the course are to enable the student to gain an understanding of what is involved in the philosophical search for truth and to provide the student with an opportunity to develop the capacity for philosophical thinking.
