   |  COMP 1060 - Introduction to Programming: A Multimedia Approach (3) Prerequisites: COMP 1010 .   (Fall semester only.) A course that introduces basic programming concepts using multimedia to create interesting effects with sounds, pictures, web pages, and video. Topics covered include data types, input/output statements, conditional statements, loops, and functions. The underlying programming language used is Python (Jython implementation) a dynamic object-oriented language. Concepts of object-oriented programming will be further emphasized through the use of another software educational tool Jeroo. Repeatable for a maximum of 6 credits.  Lab fee required. Instructor: Staff. Cross-listed With BIOL 1010 (Two lecture, one laboratory hour.)
