Curriculum Requirements


This concentration prepares students for the workforce, graduate schools, and professional schools.  A 2.0 or better GPA must be maintained as the overall GPA as well as in all English courses.

1. 124 Semester Hours:


Complete a maximum of 124 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better.  The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU.  Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in the following courses:  ENG 1110 , ENG 1210 , ENG 1300  or ENG 1400 , and ENG 1500 .

2. General Education Requirement:


Complete General Education Curriculum  required by the university as detailed on the four-year course of study.
