Curriculum Requirements
The Studio Concentration is deigned for the student who wishes to concentrate in one of the following disciplines: painting and drawing, printmaking, sculpture, or ceramics. Students in this program are encouraged to continue their studies at the graduate level.
1. 124 semester hours:
Complete a minimum of 124 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU. Students must repeat ‘D’ and ‘F’ grades in major courses.
2. General Education Requirement:
Complete General Education Curriculum required by the university as detailed on the four-year course of study. Students must have a ‘D’ or better in all GEC required courses.

Freshman Year
Many courses listed in the first year of this plan are specific to this degree program and may not fulfill degree requirements for other programs at the University. Students are advised that changing their program of study from this major to another major, after the first year, can extend the time until graduation by a semester or more.
