Curriculum Requirements


The Visual Communications Concentration prepares the student for fields of specialization in graphic design, advertising, and other associated areas of commercial communication.  Students investigate the use of art as a means of communication in these specialized areas.

1. 128 semester hours:


Complete a minimum of 128 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU. Students must repeat ‘D’ and ‘F’ grades in major courses.

2. General Education Requirement:


Complete General Education Curriculum  required by the university as detailed on the four-year course of study. Students must have a ‘D’ or better in all GEC required courses.
