I. Admission Requirements
Academic requirements for unconditional admission to the Psychology Graduate Program are:
- A bachelor’s degree in psychology or related major with a minimum of 30 semester hours and a major grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (“B”) on a 4-point scale;
- An overall undergraduate GPA of at least 2.7; and
- Completion of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) within the last five years.
Psychology Core - 16 hours
General Option - 16 hours
Total Credits in the General Option - 30 hours
Clinical Option - 31 hours
Total Credits in the Clinical Option - 49 hours
Approved Elective Courses
III. Exit Requirements
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive written qualifying examination.
- Successful completion of an oral examination associated with the thesis.
