The minor in Environmental Science is a 19 credit hour program covering essential topics related to environmental pollution and sustainability. Students who have completed this minor will have demonstrated the ability to: document how anthropogenic activities contribute to various types of pollution and affect the balance in econsystems; make an exposure assessment based on field and laboratory sampling and analysis; effectively communicate with general public as well as scientific community; and apply the working knowledge of the environmental science to sustainability and environmental justice issues in local communities and global society.
