Theatre, Dance Performance Concentration

1. 124 semester hours:

Completion of a minimum of 124 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better. The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU.

2. General Education Requirement:

Freshman and sophomore years: complete the General Education Curriculum  (GEC). (Students are strongly encouraged not to change concentrations after the first semester of the junior year.)

• DRAM 2160 - Introduction to Design for the Theatre (3)
• DRAM 3020 - Dramatic Literature II (3)
• DRAM 3030 - Introduction to Directing (3)
• DRAM 3040 - Beginning Playwriting (3)
• DRAM 3050 - Dramatic Literature III (3)
• DRAM 4140 - Afro-American Drama (3)
• DRAM 2000 - Theatre Practice (1) each semester (one semester for Teacher Education).
• DRAM 3330 - Theatre Movement (1) two semesters (one semester for Teacher Education).
