The Real Estate concentration within NCCU’s undergraduate Business Program offers students a dynamic pathway into one of the most rewarding and impactful industries. Rooted in the values of entrepreneurship, community development, and financial acumen, this concentration equips students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a diverse and evolving real estate market. Through a comprehensive curriciculum that blends theory with hands-on experience, students explore property management, real estate finance and development, and investment strategies. Our program emphasizes leadership and the importance of fostering equitable growth in communities, preparing students to make a meaningful impact in the real estate industry and beyond. By engaging with experienced faculty, industry professionals, and a network of alumni, students are positioned to excel in careers ranging from property management and brokerage to asset management and real estate development. At the heart of this concentration is the belief that education should empower future leaders to not only succeed in their individual careers but also help transform their communities. Our Real Estate concentration offers a unique opportunity for students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry while contributing to the ongoing development of vibrant and sustainable neigborhoods. The concentration is open for all students seeking the BBA degree in the School of Business. 

1. 120 Credit Hours:


  • Complete a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 for all course work completed at North Carolina Central University
  • Complete prerequisite courses with a grade of “C” or better
