Fashion, Apparel, and Textile Design Studies Minor

Curriculum Requirements:

Students pursuing the Minor in Fashion, Apparel, and Textile Design Studies should enroll and complete the following seven courses:

1. CLTX 1000 - Basic Apparel Construction (3) 

2. CLTX 2420 - Clothing and People (3)  

3. CLTX 2510 - Consumer Textiles (3) 

4. CLTX 2620 - History of Costume (3) 

5. CLTX 3820 - Fashion Buying (3) 

6. CLTX 4510 - Fashion Merchandising I (3) 

7. CLTX 4550 - Trends in Textiles and Apparel (3)  

Alternately students can - upon approval of the department chair with input from the professor - substitute any of these three:

1. CLTX 3010 - Fashion Illustration (3) 

2. CLTX 3030 - Apparel CAD (3) 

3. CLTX 4520 - Fashion Merchandising II (3)
