Curriculum Requirements
The Nutrition and Dietetics major is designed to give students an instructional foundation in nutrition, dietetics, and foods while preparing them for entry-level positions in dietetics and nutrition. The program is offered fully through NCCU Online and is a 100% distance education program. The dietetics major at NCCU is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606-6995, (312)899-0040 ext 5400. http://www.eatright.org/ACEND. 1. 120 Credit Hours:
Complete a minimum of 120 semester hours. The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU. Students must repeat ‘D’ and ‘F’ grades in all major courses. Non-departmental requirements (must have a grade of ‘C’ or better):
