Every student in the Kinesiology general concentration track will completed all the required general education courses (37 credit hours), foundational non-departmental required courses (14 credit hours), kinesiology core required courses (32 credit hours) and self-elected electives (37 credit hours) to complete their degree. The core courses proide the knowledge, skills, abilities, and dispositions that enable students to engage in “the theory and application of research and best practices that support the understanding, development, and promotion of health lifestyles and advance sports.

The core courses provide the knowledge, skills, abilities, and dispositions that enable students to engage in “the theory and application of research and best practices that support the misunderstanding, development, and promotion of health lifestyles and advance sports. Total Minimum Credit Hours: 120
Distribution of Hours * General Education Curriculum Required Courses - 37 < Kinesiology Core Required Courses - 32 ^ Non-Departmental Required Courses - 14 Electives - 37 (28 from KRA and 9 free/unrestricted electives from any department in the University) Students must maintain a GPA of 2.0 to remain in the major and prior to enrolling in the Internship prior to enrolling in KIN 4620. A minimum GPA of 2.0 overall must be achieved and must have a “C” and above in all deparmental courses. Student may select electives from the department or other courses outside the department as approved by the academic advisor. |
