Joint SAS Certificate on Statistical Analysis with SAS

Curriculum Requirements:

The Undergraduate Joint SAS Certificate on Statistical Analysis with SAS is housed in the School of Business, Department of Decision Sciences, Economics and Finance, and is open to all undergraduate students enrolled at NCCU. The Certificate provides students with opportunities and capabilities in the area of statistical analysis, with an introduction to SAS programming.

1. Semester Hours : 12

2. Program Requirements:

Admitted students will complete the following courses at NCCU. They are allowed to transfer only one course (DCS 2010).

DSC 2010  -  Elementary Statistics ( 3 )  

DSC 3020  -  Statistical Analysis ( 3 )  

STQM 5900- Special  Topics Data Analysis (3)

STQM 5420- Topics in Regression Analysis (3)

3. Non- departmental Requirements: None

4. Departmental Requirements : None

5. Certificate Requirements;

A GPA of 3.25 in all the courses included in the Certificate

6. Additional Requirements:

To be admitted to NCCU as an undergraduate student or as an undergraduate non-degree seeking student.

7. Four- Year Curriculum:

The students can complete the Certificate coursework concurrently while working on their final two years of undergraduate studies at NCCU.
