The academic minor in Recreation Administration is offered for students interested in in the management of recreation and leisure service agencies. The minor includes a 100-hour professional field experience.
To complete the minor, students must take nine hours of required “Foundation” courses, three hours of “Recreation Specialty” course elective, and nine hours of “Management” electives. These courses provide undergraduates with the opportunity to explore Recreation Administration services as a potential for career or graduate work.
*The minor requires completion of 21 credit hours.
