Students who wish to major in the Recreation Administration Program must have an overall grade point average of 2.25 and apply to be admitted into the program. Applicants must be at least a sophomore and have completed the following courses:
RECR 1000, RECR 2120, RECR 2300, and one additional 2000 level RECR course with a GPA average of 2.5 or better.

 

~Parks and Recreation Cognate Courses; students (with advisor permission) are to select (18) credit hours from the following three cognate areas: Management, Policy, and Social/Community.
 

Students are required to be senior status, have permission of their advisor, and have completed RECR 4625 prior to enrolling in the RECR 4630. Students must be in good standing and have passed all required courses prior to internship placement.
