Philosophy Minor

Curriculum Requirements

The minor in Philosophy requires the completion of 21 semester hours of Philosophy courses.

The following courses are required for the minor in Literature:

• PHIL 1000 - Introduction to Philosophy (3)
• PHIL 2210 - Ethics (3)

•  

• PHIL 2000 - Critical Thinking (3) or
• PHIL 2300 - Logic (3)

•  

• Four (4) courses from the following list:

• PHIL 2010 - Images of Man (3)
• PHIL 2110 - History of Philosophy I: Ancient and Medieval Philosophy (3)
• PHIL 2120 - History of Philosophy II: Modern Philosophy (3)
• PHIL 3120 - Philosophy of Science (3)
• PHIL 3210 - Social and Political Philosophy (3)
• PHIL 3220 - Philosophy of Religion (3)
• PHIL 4210 - Philosophy of Art (3)
