1. 120 Credit Hours:
Complete a minimum of 120 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0. A minimum of 30 hours must be completed at NCCU.
2. General Education Requirement:(must have a ‘D’ or better)
Freshman and sophomore years: complete the General Education Curriculum (GEC) Program.

All students who are majoring in Child Development and Family Relations must have an updated CPR/First Aid Certification for infants and children, current TB tests, and Criminal Record Check issued by the Department of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE). These are required for any practicum and service learning field experiences.
