Sociology Minor

Curriculum Requirements

Students choosing to minor in sociology must complete a minimum of 21 semester hours of sociology courses in addition to their major course requirements. Students choosing this minor must complete the following courses:

• SOCI 2100 - Principles of Sociology (3)
• SOCI 2400 - Social Psychology (3)
• SOCI 3200 - The Development of Sociological Theory (3)
• SOCI 3220 - American Minority Groups (3)
• SOCI 3600 - Sociological Statistics (3)
• SOCI 3700 - Sociological Research (3)
• One other sociology course chosen as an elective.
