GEOG 4130 - Geospatial Statistics (3) Prerequisites: GEOG 2020 , GEOG 3435 or equivalent. Geospatial statistics provides methods and techniques that permit investigators to create models of spatial phenomena by creating surfaces that can be visualized and analyzed to aid in the interpretation of cultural and environmental interaction. Exploratory spatial data analysis, structural analysis of surface properties of nearby locations, and surface prediction and assessment of modeling results will be covered in this course.
