ISM 5630 - Information Systems Management Special Topics (3) Prerequisites: CIS 5520 or Instructor’s Approval The goal of this course is to expose students to the latest business-oriented information systems and related tools. The students will also gain knowledge and skills on how to use the tools to align these IS to the business strategy. For instance, students will explore concepts that focus on applying the Python programming languages to common business applications, such as task automation, file processing, and data analytics. Concepts include algorithmic thinking, data types, operators, conditionals, loops, lists, dictionaries, functions, file I/O and regular expressions. In addition, students will get an introduction to technical interviews. Open for undergraduate students with permission of instructor.
