ISM 5440 - Applied Database Systems for Managers (3)

Prerequisites: Permission of Instructor This course provides an overview of the skills and knowledge necessary for the creation & management of databases including the various systems and application programs that are used to manage data with the focus on managerial decision making. Students will be working with some of the most popular databases in the industry. The course will provide hands-on experience with various skills including application skills for database management systems, using query language (SQL) and web applications using Microsoft Access, MYSQL and other Enterprise level DBMS such as Oracle and DB2.
Open for undergrad students with instructor permission.
