CSEC 5030 - Cybersecurity Special Topics (3)

Research and innovations are driving the tremendous growth in the IT and related industries. As a consequence, security threats and vulnerabilities are emerging every day, making it impossible to achieve perfect cysercurity. Thus, cybersecurity is becoming a moving target it necessary for the cybersecurity personnel to constantly keep abreast of the lastest developments in the cybersecurity arena. Some of the potential areas of explorations may include the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in cybersecurity, cloud security, blockchain security, quantum computing impact on embedded systems and platforms, future developments in national and international cybersecurity laws, policies, standards, and frameworks.
