CSEC 5000 - Cybersecurity Technology and Management (3)
This course is designed as a gateway to the cybersecurity ecosystem. This course enables cybersecurity management personnel to understand the technical operations of computers, networked, computing systems, and how to secure and mange to resources on a networked computing system. Some of the topics covered include the architecture, structure, and models of computer networks, principles and structure of IP addressing, cybersecurity threats and vulnerability assessments, threats and attacks on endpoints, and wired/wireless network security. Other areas include cloud and configure & manage cybersecurity standards, regulations, and frameworks. The course includes multi hands-on labs related to real-world tasks to reinforce the covered concepts. Open for undergraduate students with permission of instructor.
