LSIS 5810 - Research Methods (3)

Is an interdisciplinary overview that is inclusive for but not limited to MIS and MLS graduate students. The course covers how Knowledge Management (KM) is used in business, education, and research. Knowledge Management Systems and Practices introduces knowledge engineering skills on collecting knowledge, creating knowledge-base collections of information for sharing knowledge in organizations, developing knowledge graph objects with attributes to provide metadata for searching and accessing resources, and writing rules for decision support systems. Cross-Listed With New course enhances learning opportunities at NCCU as KM is not taught in other schools or departments.
