LSIS 5472 - Protocols and Network Management (3)

Prerequisites: LSIS 5475 . In this course, students will explore the theory and practical aspects of data communication among computing devices. The course includes discussion on network architecture and topology, wide area networks (WANs), local-area networks (LANs), and ISO network layers. The focus will be more on understanding the theoretical and analytical facets of computer networks rather than hands-on experiences. Additionally, students will need to review numerous journal articles to comprehend the theoretical evolution of internet protocols.
