ARTA 2430 - Foundations of Visualization for Architecture (3) Prerequisites: ARTF 2110 and ARTF 2120 An essential ability in the field of architecture is drawing-visually capturing the world around us; students will visualize imagined environments by drawing them; thereby, expressing their thoughts to others and to themselves. Through drawing, students gain knowledge of the built environment, observe it, and sharpen observational abilities-skills that architects must have; through visual thinking, initial impressions of our envisioned worlds become clear, refined, recorded thoughts; this course will cover drawing abilities, methods, and ideas that are needed to visualize and comprehend architectural design concepts.
