PSY 3420 - Survey of Sports Psychology (3)

Prerequisites: PSY 2100 .  The course will provide an overview of Sports Psychology.  The course will use an interdisciplinary approach to exam the interaction among psychological factors and performance in sports and physical activities.  The course will cover the following topic areas:  Personality, Motivation, and Physiological Arousal and Stress; Group and Team Dynamics; Aggression in Sports: Enhancing Performance and Arousal Regulation; and Sport and Psychological Well-Being.
