MATH 2400 - Introduction to Statistics for Science Majors (3) Prerequisites: C or better in MATH 1100 , MATH 1410 or MATH 2010 . A study of key concepts in statistics and probability: combinatorics, probability laws, random variables, and distributions. Includes the fundamental tools of statistics: data collection, graphical and numerical methods for describing data, experimental design, simple regression and correlation, categorical data analysis, and statistical inference.
