ENG 2410 - Sacred Texts and Traditions of South Asia (3) This course employs philosophical and historical analysis to examine the sacred diversities of life in South Asia. Through a textual and social understanding of these diversities, the course introduces an increasingly key world region. In addition to shedding light on past and present socio-cultural life in South Asia, the course holds up a mirror to comparatively reflect on Western conceptions of the world, both sacred and secular.
