NURS 2040 - Tobacco and Health (3) This interdisciplinary course will provide students with indepth knowledge of how the tobacco became a prominent crop and will trace the impact of tobacco on the lives of people of African descent. The course will review the history of tobacco control in the U.S., and how the continued use of tobacco contributes to health disparities. The course will challenge students to develop tobacco control initiative and integrate them into current campus and /or community efforts.
