POLS 1001 - Introduction to Political Science (3) An overview course designed to introduce students to the discipline of Political Science, including its subfields and important contemporary questions, theories and research methods in each. In-depth analysis of the nature of politics in human society, what it means to be a “government,” the use of power, relationships between nation-states, the rule of law and other central questions that cross important disciplinary and interdisciplinary lines.
