INBS 8110 - Responsible Conduct of Research (3) Pre- or Co-requisite: Must be current masters or PhD student or permission from the instructor. This course is designed to provide students with the continuing education in the responsible conduct of research required to prepare them to conduct themselves as ethical scientists and to remain eligible for federal funding. The course introduces students to concepts, rules, and issues central to research ethics in conducting research, the handling of animals and humans in the research process and publishing of research results. Learning to become a responsible and successful researcher can be complicated and intellectually challenging.
